The Foundation
ITS FOR SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY AND LOGISTICS proposes itself as a special School of technology, has an autonomous legal configuration in the form of the Foundation of participation, and is appointed to carry out two-year post-diploma courses of high specialization for the training of High-level Technicians in the technological area of logistics and mobility of goods for the economic development and competitiveness of our territorial system.
Piacenza was selected as headquarters of the ITS of logistics by virtue of the strong vocation of its territory for road transport and logistics and the high level of its offers regarding education , in the professional field as well as in universities.
ITS of Piacenza operates, in a national logic, within the programming of the training offer of the Emilia Romagna Region (Polytechnic Network). Among its main purposes there is the promotion and diffusion of technical and scientific culture, starting from the integration among education, training and work systems.

THE EXECUTIVE BOARD
The Executive Board has management duties and provides for the ordinary and extraordinary administration of the Foundation with the purpose to implement the three-year plan activities approved by the Board of Trustees or Directors.
THE GENERAL BOARD OF TRUSTEES OR DIRECTORS
The Board of Directors is the body to which the deliberation of the essential acts for the life of the Foundation and the achievement of its purposes is reserved.
